RUCHI is a private non-profit, rural development agency that has been working with communities in the Himalayan foothills of North India for more than 28 years.
The Rural Centre for Human Interests, RUCHI as it is otherwise known,
is driven by the goal of improving the quality of life for the rural poor and under-privileged in the state of Himachal Pradesh.
RUCHI works to achieve this goal through active grassroots participation and empowerment of the communities in all aspects of their development.
